Put on your grungies and a smile and join us for a Cache In Trash Out Event! We are cleaning up Fox Hill Tower and the surrounding areas. Please check out the cache in the area (GCA39A) and see what a difference we can make to an already stunning view! We will be at the site from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Fox Hill Tower has such an amazing view, too bad that just off the main areas there is such a not so nice view. Please join us for a Cache In Trash Out Event. This is our first attempt at setting up an event so please be gentle.
There is already a cache in the area and this is how we found the trash. Since this is a multi cache there are two areas that could use your help. That information will be given the day of the event.
We have been given the blessing of the Vernon Parks and Recreation office and the Vernon Public Works Department. How Lucky for Vernon that these offices are so generous. Vernon Parks and Rec. have offered us trash bags, trash grabbers, and possibly rubber gloves (we will have non latex gloves on hand just in case). Vernon Public Works has donated use delivery and pick up of a dumpster. A very big thank you in advance to them!
We ask that you bring work gloves and a desire to help out this beautiful park. We plan on being here from 10:00am to 1:00pm. If there are a lot of helpers we do have another site in mind that could use some help in anticipation of a larger clean up effort soon. Please log a will come so we can get a hand count!
