Located on the trail systems that follow the old rail road tracks in Boscawen.
You can park at the Jamie Welch Memorial Field at the end of Depot Street in Boscawen. I figured that Boscawen needed another cache. The cache is hidden along the gravel trail of the old rail road tracks. The trail follows the river for a while (there are some great views) and above a brook. There are motorbikes and snowmachines on these trails (depending on the season) - so be cautious. The cache is currently in a small lock and lock container. It is roughly 10-15 feet off the trail - flat terrain. I have a small micro log sheet inside - please bring your own pen or pencil. I have placed a bunch of the special Westward Journey nickels in the cache - D and P mints. In a few weeks, I will replace the small container with a larger one - for now ... think of it as an "Easter Egg Hunt." Happy caching! Remember to Cache in and Carry out.
