Merriland River is the water source for the towns of Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Wells. A trail begins at the river's bridge on Cole's Hill Road in Wells. Parking is limited and the road is narrow. The trail is not maintained, not marked, and has steep drop offs and wet spots.
This is a fishing tackle cache. Please help continue this theme, or just sign the log. It's an ammo box originally containing an assortment of pretty good stuff (hooks, leaders, flys, lures, non-lead sinkers, minnow net, bobbers, Off! wipes), and log book. Bring your waders and wet a line.
