fraygirls: The sea snakes left the aquarium quite a while ago, and it's time for this cache to do the same. Thanks to all who have visited over the years!

Geocache Description:

A quick and easy multi planted along a new bike trail near the Fort Fisher Aquarium! The listed coordinates are for Stage One of the cache. Stage One is a micro, and contains the coordinates for the final hide, aka Stage Two.

It is a well-documented fact that we fraygirls are fond of snakes. We love to visit the Cape Fear Serpentarium at feeding time, we rescue snakes from the middle of the road after hurricanes, and certain Raleigh-based geocachers have even accused us of planting our caches in snake-infested areas (that's so not true). So you can imagine our excitement when the Fort Fisher Aquarium recently announced the addition of some new residents: Sea Snakes! We couldn’t resist placing a cache in their honor.

The theme of this cache is, of course, snakes. We have filled the final cache container with all kinds of great, slithery treats, and ask that finders of the cache try to stick to this theme when trading...Thankssssssss!

**Extra Bonus Excitement!!** After you find the cache, make your way to these coordinates: N 33 57.814 W 077 55.651

You will be standing near a marine fossil hunt area. See that pile? Dig in...you'll find a variety of sharks' teeth, shells, etc. It's free, and you get to keep anything you find. Have Fun!!
