Geocache Description:

Travel west from intersection of Hwy 20 and 85 in Lusk. You will travel past the Niobrara County Fairgrounds. You are looking for Silver Springs Road. It is just past the Lusk Rest Area (about 2.5 miles from the intersection). Turn south on Silver Springs Road. It is a well maintained gravel road. Stay on Silver Springs Road until you get to the monument (approximately 9.5 miles). Use your GPS from there.

Be on the look out for Wyoming wildlife including, deer, elk, antelope and mountain lions (we did see one while hiding this cache). Watch for cattle. This is open range and they roam freely. We placed this cache with permission of the local rancher. There are no fences to cross. This monument, the only monument I know dedicated to a prostitute, is also a marker on the Cheyenne-Black Hills Stage route. The Rawhide Butte Stage stop was located a few miles southwest of here. This is prairie and as such watch out for snakes, cactus and other little nasties.
