Along the seashore - lots of interesting things to see.

Make a point of visiting the Strandveld Museum - if the place lookes closed, phone and ask for the key (cell phone numbers on the board at the door). Extremely interesting and well-displayed collection of items including relics from the "Birkenhead" shipwreck. Phone the Gansbaai Tourism Bureau (028 - 384 1439) and ask for the contact number to book a ride on the famous "Spookbus" - a wonderful trip through the Strandveld and Overberg with lively commentary, food and drinks. An entertaining way to spend an evening. (You may even see a ghost or two....!!!)
