Einer von 3 Pässen um ins Vallée de Joux zu
gelangen. Von Vallorbe führt die Strasse über diesen unscheinbaren
Pass direkt nach Le Pont am berühmten Lac de Joux. Auf der Passhöhe
befindet sich ein mächtiger Felsbrocken, genannt Pierre à PUNEX,
welcher seit Jahrhunderten als Grenzpunkt zwischen den drei
Gemeinden L'Abbey, Le Lieu und Vallorbe diente. Um an den Cache zu
gelangen musst du nicht raufklettern, aber eine schöne Aussicht ins
Vallée de Joux und auf den Lac Brenet hättest du dort oben
alleweil...
This is one out of three passes to reach the Vallée de Joux. The
passroad connects Vallorbe with Le Pont at the famous Lac de Joux.
(Lake). At the top of the pass there is a big rock block called
Pierre à PUNEX. It's a ancient border marker between the three
communities L'Abbey, Le Lieu and Vallorbe. You don't have to climb
it to reach the cache, but you'd have a perfect view to Lac Brenet
and the Vallée du Joux from up there. So it would be worth a short
climb...
