Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates, but is within two miles.

An easy puzzle for Sharks fans.

Yesterday, I was just leaving to go caching when my neighbor across the street, Mike, another Sharks fan, came out of his house to get in his car, too.

"Hi, Mike!" I called to him.

"Hey!" he called back. "How 'bout those Sharks?"

"Lookin' good for the playoff run. Hey, what do you think about them getting Burish?"

"He's OK, I guess. Doesn't seem to produce much, though."

"Well, he's got a Stanley Cup ring, so that's a plus."

"Maybe. We traded away Setoguchi for another guy with a Cup ring, and he wasn't much help."

"I was hoping this might be Couture's year to shine, especially on that line with Havlat."

"How about Marleau? Wow, is he something else? What an amazing start!"

"Yeah, and it was nice to see Shepard playing on his line, too. That kid has some talent.

"Yeah," Mike agreed. "Hey, do you remember another guy named Sheppard that used to play for the Sharks? A long time ago, I think it was '96."

"Naw, I didn't watch hockey that much back then."

"Really? You love it now. What made you start watching?"

"I think it was the 'Miracle on Ice' at the 1980 Olympics, but when I realized that most of the Sharks had played on the Russian team, I didn't have that much interest in watching them until around '97, which was when I started going to the games at the Tank."

"Speaking of the Olympics, things didn't go too well for the US at Sochi, but we still have a couple of gold medals and a bronze."

"Yep, and I saw Vlasic's gold medal on TV the other day. But we all know that Lord Stanley's silver cup is still what we really want someday."

"Well, I hope 'someday' turns out to be a day this June!" Mike and I both laughed.

"Well, we'll see. Have a good day, Mike!"

"You, too!"

As I turned to get into my car, I tried to remember where I hid my keys.

3/08/13 - Update - Decided it was time to update the puzzle! Had to fudge a little on the digits to keep the puzzle simple, but they're still close enough to get you in the slot. Add .018 to the N. Use the hide hint to get into the blue paint. Accessible from the pavement.
