The coordinates will take you up Mt. Waddaquaduck in Brimfield State Forest
This is my first cache hide so I am starting with something simple. Well, simple but not easy. Parking is on Dearth Hill Rd. at 42 06.529 072 14.952 across from the bridge. The cache is not far off the Summit trail. If you want the quick route, catch the trail just below the spillway, behind the guardrail. For a little longer walk, follow the road along the pond and catch the trail at the end of the pond. A trail map is available online HERE . From the parking spot, it’s about a half mile hike to the cache taking the quick route. It is a good climb, but there are no really steep parts. The trail is near posted property so please obey the “No Trespassing” signs as there is no need to leave the State Forest property to get to the cache site. Container is a 13x7x4 plastic container with a few trinkets to start, also my first travel bug, “Pinky”. I didn’t have the best satellite reception when placing the cache, so let me know if you find the coordinates are off. This is my first cache hide so let me know what you think and have fun.
