MotorBug: It appears that the concrete base supporting the "Sunnyvale Trash" info plaque where this was hidden gets moved when the trail is cut back. 2nd or 3rd time this has happened so I am archiving. Sorta a trashy location anyway.

Geocache Description:

In the Sunnyvale part of the SF Bay Trail.
Trail hours are from 6:30 am to one-half hour after sunset. Please cache only during these hours.

On the "Levee Trail" section of the SF Bay Trail that connects the Sunnyvale Salt Ponds to the area adjacent to Sunnyvale Baylands Park. There are several interesting signs telling the history of the area along this part of the trail.
The trail is a very popular one for runners and bikers so some stealth may be necessary, particularly during lunch time on week days.
There are several other caches to seek in this area, so a little homework before you come would be appropriate.
