Geocache Description:

On the Bluff trail system at the bottom of the Indian Hill Loop

A wonderful wilderness trail system near Halifax off the BLT Trail.Be prepared for rugged trail conditions and about 4-6 hours of hiking. The trail is marked with blazes but can get confusing while traversing the barrens. Bring a compass and make note of the safety bearing as you enter the system.

For reasons of safety, hikers should carry a map and compass, first aid kit, adequate water and water purifiers, extra layers of warm, dry clothing, rain jacket and rain pants, a knife, emergency matches, and flashlight. Hikers should be alert since they will be traveling through bear and moose country. The trail is a wilderness trail, designed to challenge and delight the experienced hiker. Hikers should use caution at all times.

If you do this cache you will be rewarded with spectacular scenery and examples of Nova Scotia wilderness.
