This is located in Sportscore One Park. It has 105 acres adjacent
to the Rock River in northwest Rockford, this is the original
Sportscore complex. Sportscore One has 8 lighted softball diamonds,
8 regulation soccer fields, 9 soccer fields (Atwood Soccer Center),
9 sand volleyball pits, two playgrounds, a soccer center building
with concessions and locker facilities, boat ramps, and a
recreation path.
This is one of a series of caches. The Cliche' Series is certain
trite phrases heard in every day conversation. The twist will be in
the title.
The above coords will bring you to a nice area with a view.
While you enjoy the view look for the coordinates to the final
stage.
The final stage is a cylindrical 2 quart container. Various
goodies are inside along with a logbook and pen.
Enjoy the park, I always do.

The park was quiet today. Parked fairly close to Stage 1 and then drove to Stage 2 - that made this multi pretty quick (~30 min). Took the softball and ping-pong ball, left pen and a couple gems. TFTC SL

It was a damp rainy day, but this was a fun hunt. I think the leaves on the ground made this less muddy than it might have been. Thanks for a fun cache. Took 2 TB's. I thought it might be good to move them on. Less visitors to the Sportscore and the weather getting colder may have made their stay long. Left $1 coin and a butterfly keychain. BTY the 2gal container is really full with items. TFTC
