Geocache Description:

Walk or ride your bike along the Ruth Pond bike trail in Nickerson State Park. The best place to park for this one is at the pull off 1.9 Miles south of Route 6A on the main Road of Nickerson State Park (N41°45.277, W070° 01.899).
Cache can be reached by walking mostly on the paved bike trail with just a little bit of woods walking. After the find go another 500 feet to the north, to the Ruth Pond landing (N41° 45.066, W070° 01.980, which is also right off the bike trail). There, the sunfish and catfish of Ruth Pond will sometimes come right up to the shoreline looking for a handout.
The distance from parking spot to cache is .5 miles. If you decide to continue around the Ruth Pond Trail it will eventually loop around and bring you to Nook trail (take a left) and then back to the parking spot. The total distance around is 1.9 miles.
