Geocache Description:

This castle was formerly called "Inabayama-castle".
The present name is "Gifu castle".

Nobunaga Oda (general of the Age of Civil Wars in Japan) carried this castle from the enemy in A.D. 1561.
Subsequently, when moving a castle where a feudal lord usually resides here, he changed into the "Gifu castle" of the present name.

This place is located at high ground.
It can reach by a ropeway to the summit of the mountain.
A ropeway differs in operation time by time.
Keep in mind that it ends the time of winter by 17:00.

One-way - 600Yen Round-trip - 1050Yen
Coordinates of a ropeway car stop: N 35° 26.073 E 136° 46.491

Even if it does not use a ropeway, you can reach up to the cache hiding place.
Terrain in that case is set to 3.

この城は西暦1561年に織田信長が敵から攻め落としました。
その後、居城をここに移す際に現在の名称の「岐阜城」に改めました。

この場所は高地にあります。
山頂までロープウェイで登ることが出来ます。
ロープウェイは時期によって運行時間が異なります。
冬の時期は17:00で終了しますので注意してください。

ロープウェイを使用しなくてもキャッシュの隠し場所までは到達できます。
