This cache belongs to a series of five caches taking the visitors back in time to the year 1854. On this site ships used to be pulled up and leant sideways so that the ship´s bottom could be cleaned from shells and coated with tar. When one side was ready, the ship was pushed out to sea and then pulled back and leant on the other side. Sniff in the box and you can still feel the lovely scent of fresh tar!
This has btw. been a wonderful place for many jamborees for scouts through out the years ... ;o)
