A most beautiful stroll in the woods, amongst a chorus of crickets.
We discovered the Dunklee Pond area (in the Hollis Town Forest
Conservation area) thanks to another geocache in the area. We have
driven past this location 100 times with no idea such a beautiful
spot existed so close to the road.

We decided to place this cache a little bit deeper into the park to
permit others to enjoy the very interesting terrain changes,
variety of vegitation and wonderful views of the pond. Nearly every
inch of this trail is more beautiful than the last.
The ~1 mi loop makes for very easy and leisurely walk along gently
sloping trails. There is no need to bushwhack here, except maybe
the final few feet of the trail. The trails here are numerous and
nicely suited for easy mtn bike travel, with no difficult or
technical elements. I actually biked-in to place this cache on a
glorious, sunny, warm, late spring afternoon.
Muggles appear to be very few and far between in this area.
Parking can be found at the intersection of Farley and So Merrimack
Rd.

locations.
