Summer Cottage for let
N42 33.620 W71 20.540

· Located inside Great Brook Farm State Park, Carlisle, MA
· Sign the rental contract, located about 50 meters away at the cliff

Please be careful not to swap out the Letterbox items. This hybrid, Geocache/Letterbox is not available during cross-country ski season, from 12/15 to 3/15, and will be removed during those periods. Park in the main parking lot, N42 33.40 W71 20.87 Fee ($2.00) required April 1 to November 30, from 8 AM to 6 PM. You can avoid the fee, by starting in Thanksgiving Forest, Chelmsford MA, or doing it during a free period (after 6 PM etc.).

The Park trail map, numbers key intersections. Use the Park Trail map and begin the Stone Row Trail near intersection 6. (N42 33.640 W71.20.690) Climb, and when the trail heads South, you will see the Summer Cottage, East of the trail. After checking out the cottage, stand in the doorway facing away from the cottage (240 degrees from magnetic North). You will see a rocky cliff top about 45 meters away. Step to the cliff & enjoy the fine view. Next climb down about 7 meters to the split rocks, and find the rental contract in a low alcove to your right (North).

If you reached intersection 32, you went about 175 meters past the cottage. If you start in Chelmsford’s Thanksgiving Forest, enter the Stone Row trail at the Eastern end (near N42 33.64 W71 20.87), and proceed to Intersection 32.

Great Brook Farm State Park is one of the finest hiking, horse-back riding, cross-country skiing, & biking areas in Eastern Massachusetts. It will soon be home to at least 10 caches, and at least 10 letterboxes.
