Ulvshaleskoven, en gammel skov

Ulvshaleskoven ligner ikke nogen anden østdansk skov. Store dele af skoven er "naturskov", dvs. at skoven her får lov til at udvikle sig naturligt uden indgreb i form af hugst og plantning.
Skoven har været fredet siden 1929.
Kun stierne holdes fri for vegetation og nedfaldne grene.

Ulvshaleskoven bør findes sammen med Udby skov, en ny skov (GCVZWY)

Ulvshaleskoven, an old forest
Ulvshaleskoven does not look like any other East Danish forest. Huge parts of the forest are "natural forest" which is where the forest has been left on its own without any cutting or planting.
The forest has been preserved since 1929.
Only the paths are kept free of vegetation and fallen down branches.
