The small, stunningly beautiful lake Kaitalampi is located just
24 km from the Helsinki city centre, off Porintie (120). Plenty of
parking space (shared with a golf course, SHG Luukki [http://www.shg.fi/]), is available at
N60°19.300 E24°20.258. Marked paths head out from the parking place
to swimming platforms and fireplaces at the lake; Ideal places for
a picnic/BBQ and taking a dip.
If you'd enjoy a longer hike in the woods and around the lake,
start your visit at
GCF977 Look at the narrow lake by Jouko. From the
starting point you can continue either with your geovehicle of
choice to either of the parking places or on foot by good paths to
the caches (8 km there and back, plus plenty of opportunities to
take a wrong turn on the way).
