A leopard was shot here by local livestock farmers in 1885. Since
then sightings of this elusive animal have been few but on a misty
morning it is easy to believe that there could be one watching you
from the kranse above.
Bring something to do with leopards to leave in the cache.
From the Malmesbury road (R315) take the dirt road turn off to
Riebecksrivier.
From the Moorreesberg road (R311) take the dirt road turn off to
Malmesbury and then the road to Riebecksrivier.
Find the leopard sign on the mountain side of the road. The cache
is nearby.
