[ENG] Koorküla caves are Estonia's biggest next to Aruküla and Helme caves; this takes up at least a quarter of a hectare in area and has been formed into the sandstone probably by the consequence of water movement and has later been enlarged by people.
The biggest gap is on the side of the primeval valley of Õhne, through this you can get into a 1.5 metre wide and 1.3 metre high passage and from there into a large round room, which has a height of 3.5 metres and a width of 6.5 metres. The cache is in a small box and is hidden near the Koorküla cave. Certainly take electric torches with you and and also look inside the cave mouth. The passages are low but it is still not hard to get through into the big room.
[EST] Koorküla koobastik on Aruküla ja Helme koobastiku kõrval Eesti suurimaid; see hõlmab vähemalt veerand hektari suuruse ala ja on tekkinud liivakivisse tõenäoliselt vete tegevuse tagajärjel ning on hiljem inimese poolt laiendatud. Suurim ava on Õhne ürgoru nõlvas, selle kaudu pääseb 1,5 m laiusesse ja 1,3 m kõrgusesse käiku ning sealt omakorda suurde ümmargusse ruumi, mille kõrgus on 3,5 m ja laius 6,5 m (www.eestigiid.ee).
Aare on väiksemas plastkarbis ja peidetud Koorküla koopa lähedusse. Sisaldab logiraamatu, kirjutusvahendeid ja igapäevast aardenänni. Kindlasti võtke taskulambid kaasa ja vaadake koopasuust ka sisse. Käigud on küll madalad, aga sinna suuremasse „tuppa“ pääseb mõningase vaevaga ligi.
