Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Ben & Kay Dorris State Park, right along the McKenzie River.

This cache commemorates TeamBLuR's marathon caching trip to Boise Id. We drove over 1400 miles, ate four sit down meals, and ran uncountable miles to grab caches. Many gallons of water, oodles of energy bars and Swedish fish later, we bagged 350 caches in four days. The cachemobile was fine tuned for the trip. Armed with a fully loaded laptop, the backseat driver (navigator) would plot a route through the maze of streets, hoping to make the grabs as efficient as possible. The co-pilot, pda enhanced, verified the chances of success on any particular cache. The driver, with three GPSr deedling him directions, would have to negotiate the traffic in dare devil fashion to not be stuck in a motionless state. Upon arrival at the cache site, all doors would simultaneously fly open, and the running began. No matter how near or far, we wanted numbers. All this lead to an average of over 10 caches per hour, for many many hours. Driving over we grabbed 60 caches before catnapping for the next day. Up early, we headed out with our hopes high. We bagged 144 on the second day. We were moving at the speed of light. The third day started very slowly. We planned on enjoying a day of bike riding along the Boise River, grabbing the river caches. That plan changed due to flooding. Back into the cachemobile we went and it was pedal to the metal time. We had lost about 3 hours of time and were determined to recoup our losses. End result, day 3, 114 more caches. Exhausted and exalted, we scrambled out of bed at 9 the next morning. We wanted more, more, more. With the goal of hitting the border by high noon, we had less than 3 hours to grab all we could. And that we did. Back home at 9pm and 350 caches in the bag. What a journey.

Put a few pictures of our adventures at the bottom.
