A long hike with an ammo can at the end!
A few weeks ago I hiked all the way up the Black Mountain trail - 2200 feet of elevation gain in 4.5 miles (each way). It's one of the best workout trails in the area, and yet there were no caches on the trail! So now there is.
This cache is a short way down a spur trail about 2/3 of the way up. It can also be approached from Montebello OSP, but either way it's a long hike!
Cache is an ammo can (courtesy of shadow101 - he gave it to me at the Little shop of Horrors event - thanks!), hidden under some bushes. FTF and STF prizes are a GBA Earthquakes coin and an unactivated California Poppy Micro-coin. I forgot to put the geocaching note in, so if a finder can do that it would be much appreciated!
