GERMAN:
Ein geheimes, sehr schön gelegenes, sonniges Picknick-Plätzchen, ca 25 Min über dem Schloss. Ein Ort der Ruhe mit tollem Überblick über Schloss Neuschwanstein und seine komplette Szenerie ( Seen, Berge, Schlucht, Tal, Flachland ). Zu keiner Zeit ist es notwendig wegloses Gelände zu beschreiten oder Verbote zu missachten. Auf den letzten ca. 100 m zum Cache führt jedoch ein schlechter sehr steiler Pfad hoch. Am "Metall" kann man sich aber festhalten und er ist nicht ausgesetzt.
Der Cache ist dort am größten Baum seiner Art plaziert. Er muss LIEGEN ! um nicht gesehen zu werden!
Der schönste Aufstieg zum Schloss geht übrigens über die schattige, wilde Pöllatschlucht. Er ist gleich lang aber viel weniger frequentiert.
Wenn er endet, habt ihr nach rechts 10 Min leicht abwärts zur Schlossführung bzw. links 5 Min weiter hoch zur Marienbrücke. (am Besten später) Von hier gibt es den ersten brauchbaren und zugleich schönsten Blick auf das Schloss. Fast immer wird sie aber überlaufen sein und deshalb nehmt ihr das GPS zu Hilfe... Happy hunting!
Zum Abstieg (per Bus 1€) empfehlen wir dann die Richtung Schloss Hohenschwangau, um dort erneut in den Rummel einzutauchen. Der Alpsee bietet dann auch eine Möglichkeit aufzuatmen, bevor es wieder auf die Reise geht.

This is a beautiful sunny and secret place for having picnic at about 25 min above the castle. It's a quiet place with a great view over the castle Neuschwanstein and it's complete scenery. (lakes, mountains, gorge, valley, landscape of "Allgäu").
It's not necessary to leave paths or to tread forbidden terrain.
The last ~100 meters, the path is bad and rises very steeply, but you can hold on to the "metal" there. It is not exposed.
The cache is placed at the tallest tree of it's kind there. It has to LIE(!) up there to be invisible! No hanging!
The most beautiful and shady ascent-path to the castle leeds through the gorge "Pöllatschlucht". From its end, it takes 10 min to the castle on the right, or 5 min to the Marien-bridge (later), from where you'll get the first useful and most beautiful view to the castle. But it will be overcrowded here, so take your GPS and have a little and nice hunt...
We recommend to descent by bus (1€) to the castle "Hohenschwangau" then... The lake is relaxing as well !
