camo'd view-tainer tube
I recently started riding my bike to work from Danville to Pleasanton. It's about a 12 mile trip each way. Not too difficult, although when it starts to hit 110 degrees, I may change my story.
With bike in hand (or under foot), I was exploring the area and stumbled across this entrance to the Arroyo Mocho Trail near the Fed Ex hub. I haven't made it south on the trail as of yet, but tried heading north, which unfortunately, doesn't go very far. But that's a story for another cache....
There's nearby parking, although I wouldn't recommend parking in the Fed Ex lot during the week, since it's for employees only in the nearby section. There's tons of small businesses all over the place, so you can take your chances, or you can walk it from a public lot.
This cache is at the entrance to the trail, so it's all paved and flat. You can bike, walk, hike, blade or skip to it. You can take your dog, cat, baby stroller, neighbor or pot bellied pig.
It's a camo'd 'view-tainer' which is about the size of a soda can. It's clear plastic container with solid colored ends. The idea is to put junk in it, and you can 'view' what's in there... hence the name, 'view-tainer'. I think Wile E Coyote invented it.
It's got some small trade items, a log, a pen and a SnoWake compass #1095.
** Congrats to GEODANIMAL on FTF **
