Tupperware Signposts #1.5: Motorcycle Parking Only Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Krypton: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

A tribute cache to motogrrl, continuing her "Tupperware Signposts" series. This is a micro, *and* it's a Tupperware -- an actual, branded Tupperware!

(a.k.a., "Tiny Tupper")

Froghops gave this to motogrrl; then, after her accident, she sent it off with me. This cache is in motogrrl's memory, and is hidden in her (ancestral) neighborhood, on the occasion of what would have been her 45th birthday. RIP Leigh Ann Hussey, 07/31/1961-05/16/2006. We miss you...! (Feel free to "dip" your memorial geocoins in this hide in tribute -- not that there's room for them to fit inside. Just clink a toast on the exterior. %-} )

Unlike most geocaches, this Tupperware is actually a branded Tupperware. This is despite the fact that it's a micro -- see the gallery if you don't believe me! Apparently, it's some kind of special giveaway from the Tupperware corporation, that they give their star salespeople, to put on their fridges (Yes, it's magnetic.). So, the container is special, and please exercise stealth in your retrieval! And please make sure the lid's back on securely -- thanks.

Stage 1 is a camouflaged flexible magnet, stuck to the low side of the parking meter post closest to the "Motorcycle Parking Only" sign. On the side that is clinging to the metal, are the decimal minutes of the final stage.

Again, please be stealthy (thank you...) about retrieving the 2nd stage. As previously mentioned, the container will be difficult to replace. The difficulty for this hide is entirely due to the stealth factor. The hider would appreciate if you timed your searching to avoid the traffic (foot, at least, if not vehicular) through this area.

FTF prize -- with a special caveat -- is a 1st-run (the ones she minted for herself) motogrrl geocoin, #90. Caveat: if you already have one of these, I'd sincerely appreciate it if you left it for the next person.

The coordinates were gotten on two separate trips, averaging results from two different makes of GPSr, and checked against Terraserver.

Oh, one last thing. In order to accommodate its original cargo, the log is quite small. Please be prepared to write in tiny fashion, and let me know if it's running out of room. Thanks.

FTF: kablooey! Congratulations!
