Kätkö sijaitsee
ammunta-alueella,mutta alueella liikkuminen on sallittua, kun
ammuntoja ei ole. The cache is located on shooting training area of
the Finnish Navy, but it is permitted to visit the area when there
are no trainings going on.
Dedicated to the memory of the man who first sighted Pitcairn
Island. The island was named in 1767 by Capt. Philip Carteret, a
British naval officer, after Robert Pitcairn, the midshipman who
first sighted it. On January 15, 1790, the mutineers of Bounty and
their Tahitian companions arrived on the island. The group
consisted of Fletcher Christian and eight other mutineers from the
Bounty. These were Ned Young, John Adams, Matthew Quintal, William
McCoy, William Brown, Isaac Martin, John Mills and John Williams.
Also with them were six Tahitian men and twelve Tahitian women, as
well as a Tahitian baby girl named Sally, daughter of one of the
women, who would become a respected person in the community. The
settlers took everything off the Bounty and then burnt the ship to
hide all trace of their existence. The wreck of Bounty is still
visible underwater in Bounty Bay. Information about the training

Harjoiteltuamme koko päivän rantautumisia ja erilaisia manöövereita kätköpikalle saapumisissa, alkoi homma olla tällä saarella jo hanskassa. Siksipä pääsimmekin aika suoraviivaisesti loggaamaan tämän kätkön. Saari oli kaunis, ja kiersimme sen ihan vain ihastelumielellä.
Suuri kiitos jälleen erilaisesta kätköstä, ja kauniin saaren esittelystä = )

Kummelisaarella hetken mittailimme etäisyyksiä  sen jälkeen mihistö kapusi alukseen ja jatkoi matkaa kohti toista saarta.Veneväylä sijaisti aivan vieressä josta muuta vene kulkikin,hieman katselivat meidän touhua  ohi ajaessaan.Lopulta saavutimme ranna jossa saaren asukki meitä oottelikin Hienot maisemat avautuivatkin saaren toiselta puolelta.Purkkia saimme hetken etsiskellä mutta lopulta sekin löydettiin.Kiitokset hienon paikan esittelystä.

Sitten soutelimme tänne kumiveneellä.. Olishan tänne isommallakin jahdilla rantautunut.
Väylän ylitys mentiin pikakelauksella, vilkas oli liikenne.. Tais meidän souturetki jäädä muutaman venekunnan muistoihin eläväksi legendaksi..
Monesta veneestä meille vilkuteltiin.

Geo-väline-repertuaarista tuli tällä kertaa kaivettua geo-puhallettava-kajakki, jolla läheisen niemen nokasta tuli saareen melottua. Saarella oli sekalainen joukko auringonpalvojia, mutta ei ketään joka olisi kätkön etsintää häirinnyt. Miellyttävää kätköilyä vesillä ja saaristossa.Itse kätköä tuli etsittyä jokunen tovi - se oli piiloitettu hieman odotettua erilaiseen piiloon - mutta löytyi sitten kuitenkin! KK!
