First Landing Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

AIS76: I went to replace the logbook and there is a large homeless camp located right next to ground zero. I wasn't comfortable bringing my children so I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable sending other kids to search this park.

Geocache Description:

Dedicated on July 4, 1976 First Landing Park commemorates the landing site of Haverhill's first English settlers in 1640.

The terrain is VERY easy. As for the cache container itself, well it's difficulty is a whole different story completely!

Please note, this is a nanocache therefore you will need to bring your own pen or pencil. It is also VERY small and magnetic, only slightly larger than a pencil top eraser. If you have never seen a nanocache before, make sure you check out the picture so you know what to look for.

You can thank this cache (visit link) for the inspiration to make this cache a nano.

Parking is very simple, right in front of the gate will do. You will only be about 75-100 ft from the cache.

While you are here, why not visit the Haverhill Historical Society right across the street or the really cool and really old cemetary also across the street?
