Geocache Description:

A nice view of downtown Nashua from the bridge.

Location:
The cache was placed bring attention to the Nashua Riverfront Promenade, now under construction.

The city's plan intends to connect Main St. and downtown areas to the Nashua River, providing public access and walkways along a 1.6 mile loop from Main St, beside The Peddler's Daughter and Margarita's Restaurants, then across the rail-trail bridge and back to the Library.

The city hopes to address concerns of safety in this area with better lighting and parallel riverwalks connecting at several points to increase access. The new Senior Center on the hill and riverside condominiums with adjacent walkway off Canal St, all under construction are part of the larger plan. The site is evolving rather quickly. It is looking quite nice!

Cache:
The cache is a micro and is placed in a conspicuous location with good visibility. The location will require a fair degree of stealth! Bring your own pen. :)

Parking:
Parking is available from either the Temple Street side (N 42 45.721 - W 071 27.464) or the Canal St side (N 42 45.812 - W 071 27.622) of the bridge. Weekday parking on the Canal St. side may be limited.

Update: I replaced the muggled cache on 6/23. Hopefully this one will be a bit more muggle-proof. The log reflects the finds before the original was lost.
