This cache site is easily reachable by a 2X4 and by all members of the family. The cache is hidden off the road between Jeddah and Riyadh.
Heading from Jeddah towards Riyadh (i.e. driving east) take the “Quwayiyah” off-ramp (there should be an off-ramp heading in the opposite direction as well).
Drive along the off-ramp and make a U-turn as soon as you can (i.e. do not go into the town), going back on the bridge over the highway. Drive for a few kilometers until you see a blue and orange petrol station (at N 24 00.618 E 045 12.112). Head west (i.e. turn right at the roundabout) and drive to N 24 06.503 E 045 03.714 (around 20.1 km). There is a parking spot off to the side of the road.
While around the area do yourself a favor and drive a little further west into the desert. There is some amazing desert scenery, and if you time it correctly you will get excellent photo’s of the sunset. The road has recently been tarred a long way into the desert. You may even want to bag some of the many other caches in the area, though I noticed that most of the other caches were off the road (seems that a 4X4 is required), whereas this cache is just off the tarred road, and is within a three minute walk (though the car will be on the side of the road, there is not a great deal of traffic and you will not be seen from the road at the cache site).
