Less than 100 yds off FS 147. 4wd not needed, passanger cars can get in easier if you take the 147 off the 87, instead of the 300 road off the 87.
The cache is right off of a meadow that we use to love to camp at. My daughter loved to run in the meadow, and play in the snow in early spring. We named the cache after her. We can no longer camp there because the Forest Service is keeping the public away from public lands. You can still drive there, you just can't drive or camp down the little road that runs along the edge of the meadow. I hope you enjoy the spot, though. There is poor GPSr reception once you go into the trees, so get a good bearing from the meadow.
