Drive to Kärperö and follow coordinates from there.
Karperöfjärden, a lake in Korsholm. During the Ice Age Karperofjäden was a part of the Gulf of Bothnia. As a result of land uplift the sea has become an inland lake. As this is a popular place to swim in the summer, the cache may be difficult to retrieve at times. Take a swimsuit and towel along.
Karperöfjärden är sjö i Korsholms kommun. Karperöfjärden var under istiden en del av Bottenhavet men har på grund av landhöjningen blivit en insjö. Vattenståndet regleras via en damm i fjärdens norra ände, medeldjupet är omkring 2,5 meter. På grund av att Karperöfjärden är en populär badstrand om somrarna kan ” skatten” vara svår att få tag på vid vissa tillfällen. Utrusta dig gärna med simdräkt och handduk.
