This cache is part of a series based on the idea of Portkeys from the Harry Potter Books.
Portkeys are enchanted objects, often a piece of supposedly worthless junk, which when touched transports a person to a preprogrammed location. (Thanks to Harry Potter Lexicon for definition)
This Portkey, when touched, will transport you to The Emerald Isle- Ireland. this cache is filled with items that can be associated with Ireland.
Original contents:"Blarney Stones", Golf T's, golf ball markers, celtic jewelry, C.S. Lewis- Narnia bookmark (he was born in Ireland), various green items, and snakes (to remind us that ST Patrick gave a sermon from a hilltop that drove all the snakes from Ireland) All in a large Ziplock bag inside the cache- paranoid after recent rains.
Cache also contains smaller ziplock bag containing logbook, pencil, sharpener.
