Bella Piazza is a very pretty place. The cache is outside the grounds.
This is the first in our Amador Winery Series . Years ago the only one was the D'Agostini Winery founded in 1856 and is the oldest continuously operating winery in California. Today it is known as Sobon Estate. When you drove through the foothills you would see an occasional vineyard and walnut orchards and the rest were fields of oak and other trees with cattle grazing. Then over time what is known as the Shenandoah Valley started to grow with more wineries and vineyards, and in time they spread to other parts of the county. So now it is hard to drive through the foothills without seeing a winery or vineyard. Today there is about 34 tasting rooms for those who wish to try the wines from the biggest to the new smaller ones. Or just take a picnic and enjoy visiting them as they all have very nice things to see and do either there or close by. So take a day or a weekend and enjoy the country.
