The hunt takes roughly an 2 hours but that doesn't include exploration of the surrounding area. It will require you to have a good pair of hiking boots, as there are many slippery rocks to traverse. There are many as I call it (sink holes) which means you take a step and next thing you know you just found a hole. Also please watch your footing (especially with children) as there are a few dangerous holes in the ground especially around stage 2 once you walk out of the cave. If you choose to go spelunking (caving), be sure to bring a flashlight, rope, cell phone, and at least 3 friends with you (1 to stay with the injured and 2 to go find help). This cache is not recommended for young children and is listed as a 5/5 because depending on the time of year and weather conditions this cache can be exceptionally tricky. Also to help with the hunt, writing down the hints is a good idea.
The multi consists of four stages, the first three being trees that are tagged with coordinates, and the final is a Rubbermaid container. To reach the parking for this cache, coming from Collingwood on County Rd. 124, turn right on County Rd. 91, and then turn right on Osprey/Clearview Townline. Follow it to Eagle Crescent, turn right onto Northway, and finally turn right onto Osprey Heights.
From the trailhead (parking), follow the trail across the top of the ridge to the first stage. Stay on the side trail until it exits the crevices before searching for stage two. Take the time to explore the area if you wish; there are some great crevices, and caves to be seen.
PLEASE keep in mind that when walking through grass there is always the dangers of poison ivy, bugs, glass, snakes, birds, mud, water, small aliens, dragons, ninja monkeys, biomechanical men, rabbits, cats, dear, bears, very small rocks, fairy's, African swallows, and trolls. Oh and don't forget about the dangerous ones ...... teenagers :-) Therefore, enter at own risk!! Ha ha happy hunting all!!!
