the cache is located along bear valley road, about six miles north of highway 20. be advised that this is a gravel road that is dusty in the summer and slippery in the winter. the parking is not very good at the site, so look for a wide spot in the road several yards north or south of the cache.
joe and i were caching along bear valley road and couldn't help but notice the dozens of quail that scurried about. we wondered if they had a leader....thus the name of the cache.
