Tämä lienee Leppävirran ensimmäinen kätkö ja sijaitsee Orinoron rotkolle johtavan luontopolun varrella.
This obviously is the very first cache in Leppävirta and is located by the nature trail to Orinoro gorge.
Orinoro on jäätikköjoen uurtama pystyseinäinen kapea rotko. Sen pituus on noin 100 m ja syvyys suurimmillaan lähes 20 m. Rotkon pohjalla on lähde. Lumi ja jää säilyvät rotkon pohjalla kesäkuulle asti. Tarkempi kuvaus kohteesta löytyy mm. Leppävirran kunnan sivuilta. Kätkölle vie kaksi vaihtoehtoista reittiä. Lyhin reitti kätkölle on vajaan kilometrin, auton voi pysäköidä paikkaan N62º 30.744 E028º 00.502. Jos haluat kulkea koko luontopolun (7 km), aloita Mustinmäen koululta, N62º 30.175 E027º 58.286. Päätieltä on opasteet lähtöpaikalle. Koko luontopolku ja etenkin lyhin reitti ovat helppokulkuisia, ehkä rotkon pohjaa lukuun ottamatta. Tulva-aikaan saattavat kumisaappaat olla tarpeen. Kätkö on 0,5 litran pakasterasia. Kätkö on löydettävissä talvellakin, saatat tosin tarvita sukset tai lumikengät.

300 metrin päässä kätköstä lammen rannalla on laavu, kota ja tulentekopaikka.
Kylätien varrella on opaste Mustinmäen korkeimmalle kohdalle, josta avautuu kaunis näköala savolaiseen maalaismaisemaan.
Orinoro is a narrow gorge with vertical walls, carved by glaciers during the last Ice Age. It is approximately 100 m long, with a maximum depth of almost 20 m. There is a spring at the bottom of the gorge, and snow and ice remain there as late as June.

There are two alternative routes to the cache. The shortest one is about 1 km, park your car at N62° 30.744 E028° 00.502. If you want to hike the whole nature trail (7 km) start from Mustinmäki school at N62° 30.175 E027° 58.286. There is a roadsign on the main road. The whole trail and especially the shortest route is rather easy to walk, except the bottom of the gorge. In Spring time rubber boots may be needed. The container is a 0,5 litre plastic box. The cache can be found in winter as well but you may need skis or snowshoes.
300 m away from the cache there is a lean-to shelter, hut and camping fire place by a pond.
There is a lookout spot on top of Mustinmäki by the village road. There you can view a very nice Savolax countryside view.
