Der Furkapass verbindet Realp im Urserental mit
Oberwald im Goms (Kt. Wallis). Er ist mit 2436 m ü. M. einer der
höchsten Alpenpässe in der Schweiz. Die rund 30 km lange Fahrt über
den Pass entschädigt mit glanzvollen Aussichten! Auf der Walliser
Seite ist beim Hotel Belvédère auch ein Abstecher in/auf den
Rhonegletscher möglich.
Damit du dich an den vielen Aussichtspunkten auch auf die Strasse
konzentrieren kannst, ist der Cache an MoCache üblicher Lage
unmittelbar auf der Passhöhe versteckt. Er kann auch bei regem
Publikumsverkehr recht problemlos gehoben und auch wieder versteckt
werden. Die meisten Touristen interessieren sich nämlich nur für
ein Foto mit der berühmten Tafel auf dem Pass. (Siehe angefügte

nicht alle Caches mit dem Motorrad auslege.) :-)
Furka Pass connects Realp (Kanton Uri) with Oberwald (Kanton
Wallis). With its 2436 m Furka is one of the highest passes in
Switzerland. The hole trip ia about 30 km. There are a lot of
really beautiful lookouts. At the western part of the pass right at
the place of Hotel Belvédère you may even step into and onto the
glacier wich is the sourge of river Rhone (Rhone Gletscher).
The cache is hidden at a pritty common place. It is (usually) no
problem to pick it up and hide it afterwords even there are muggles
around. They all are interessed in one and only thing: Taking a
foto with the blue roadsign showing that they really have been up
there. (See foto of me with bicycle!).
