In Trollshovda there has been ironworks from 1850, producing more than 200 ton billets per year. At foundation the plans were already 200 years old for this location: the forest could give charcoal, the little brook water power and the gulf was a good harbour. Some of the iron ore was imported from Sweden, some was from local bogs. Old people in Trollshovda still remember the making of charcoal in the huts made of slagbricks. Six of the huts are left, one of them now used as chapel. Take time for some sight-seeing! If you think the coordinates aren't exact, please tell us better ones.
Recommend to approach the cache from the south and cross the brook. May be difficult to find in the winter if there is lots of snow.
