Mira Monte, is located just
off of Hwy 101. You can park in the shade of the Eucalyptus trees
and watch airplanes take off and land from here.
My mapping software does not show this gravel road. Only
accessible from the north bound lanes, there is no deceleration
lane, as soon as you see the big Mira Monte (looks just like a
Digitalfish) sign in the distance, put on your turn signal and
start slowing down. Be very careful getting back onto the
highway!
The cache is a camouflaged jar, just large enough for a log and
very small Geoswag. Coordinates were from 9 satellites. Bring your
own writing device.
