This is the first of three caches hidden on the Meat Cove trail, it's hidden at the second most northern point in Cape Breton, Cape St. Lawrence.
Park at N47 01.527 W060 33.680, continue on foot up the road until you come to a trail on the right (marked by flagging tape and two yellow signs). This trail will take you through the woods and down the steep Bear Hill before reaching the barren coastline at Cape St. Lawrence. There are some ruins of a couple of old lighthouses at the Cape along with an automated signal which is used today. St. Paul Island is visible from the Cape on clear days, sometimes even Newfoundland as well. Good luck!
