Geocache Description:

Carlanna Lake is a gem at the end of a short walk up an access road to the dam. Begin at the end of Canyon Road. Elevation change is about 290 feet in .3 mile.

I lived in Ketchikan for 10 years and never hiked this trail. It took a visit to family and the itch to hide a cache to bring me here and I'm glad I finally did it. The first trip was on a rainy day and there was fog on the lower end. How cool! The day I placed the cache was sunny and an even bigger treat! I hope you enjoy.

The cache is a tupperware container. I had 9 feet of accuracy near the cache and 11 at the cache.

Cruise ship cachers can do this but you probably need to take a taxi to the start. Serious hikers will love the trail, the lake and the find.

Congratulations to the pinkhappyhiker clan for being FTF!
