Bei diesem Cache handelt es sich um einen kurzen Traditional-Cache, der euch eine schöne Aussicht über den Ort Ramsau bietet. Insgesamt solltet ihr nicht länger als 30 Minuten für diesen Cache brauchen. Bis auf die letzten 20m zum Cache müsst ihr die Wege nie verlassen. Festes Schuhwerk ist also nicht unbedingt nötig.

Am besten ihr parkt euer Auto (falls ihr halt mit dem Auto unterwegs seid) bei den angegebenen Parkkoordinaten direkt neben der Waldschenke. Für Kinder würde sich hier ein Abstecher ins Kinderland anbieten.

Der Cache liegt in der Nähe des Starthauses der Skisprungschanze. Am Besten ihr folgt dem Forstweg der mit einem grünen Balken gesichert ist. Dann nehmt ihr die zweite Forststrasse die nach links abzweigt und folgt dem Weg weiter bis zu einer Y-Kreuzung wo ihr euch rechts haltet. Bei der nächsten Y-Kreuzung geht ihr wieder rechts und haltet euch von da an immer am Weg bis ihr beim Starthaus angekommen seid.

Nachdem ihr die Aussicht über den Ort und das Dachstein-Massiv genossen habt, könnt ihr euch auf die Suche nach dem nur cirka 30 Meter entfernten Cache machen.

Die Sprungschanze wurde anlässlich der nordischen Ski-WM 1999 am Kulmberg in der Ramsau errichtet und ein großer Steinbruch so wie ein wunderschönes Stück Natur mit dem ich viele Kindheitserinnerungen verbinde musste leider weichen.

Passt beim heben des Caches bitte auf, dass ihr nicht beobachtet werdet. Ab und zu kommt es schon vor, dass Skispringer auf der Schanze üben. Das beste wird dann sein, wenn ihr dem Weg bergaufwärts folgt bis ihr ausser Sichtweite seid und euch dann von hinten dem Cache nähert.

This cache is a Traditional cache which is supposed to give you a wonderful view over the town of Ramsau. It should not take you more than 30 minutes for this cache. You do not have to leave the paths up to the last 20 meters before the cache. Thus it is not necessary to wear sturdy shoes.

It would be best if you park your car (if you go by car) at the given parking coordinates next to the Waldschenke (Forest Inn). For children it lends itself to take a trip to the Kinderland (Kidsland).

The cache is located near the starting house of the ski jump. It would be best if you follow the forestry path which is secured through a green beam. Then take the second forestry path which goes left and follow the path up to a Y-crossroads where you turn right. At the next Y-crossroads again turn right and then stick to the path until you arrive at the starting house.

After you have enjoyed the view over the town and the Dachstein, you can start to look for the cache which is only about 30 meters away.

The ski jump was built for the occasion of the Nordic Ski Championship in 1999 at Kulmberg in the Ramsau. A big quarry as well as a wonderful piece of nature which is connected to many childhood memories of mine had to make way for this project.

Please watch out that you are not watched when picking up the Cache. Once and again it happens that ski jumpers are doing their training on the ski jump. I would advise you to follow the path uphill until you are out of sight and then you can approach the cache from the back.
