Geocache Description:

Ever feel disconnected? Maybe a little out of touch?

With all the gadgets and devices that tether us to home or the office, sometimes it's good to be disconnected. You might not even realize that you're spending more time looking at your GPS than the view around you. (Real land nav is done with a protractor, compass, and map. I know, GPS is more fun.) So leave your laptop and wireless internet at home and get disconnected. You can drive pretty close to this one. Coming from Cal Poly or 101, the road turns to dirt as you go under the tracks. Park in the turn out just past the yellow 10mph sign. Walk down the gravel trail right after you go over the cattle guard. The cache is under a rock. Just lift off the top rock so you can replace it just the way you found it. After you find the cache, feel free to head down the trail and check out Chumash Challenge. This is one place where you wouldn't want to become disconnected. Don't forget to bring your own pen.
