This cache was released for “The Great Northern Tier Geocaching Tournament 2006 – North Quabbin Event it is now available for any Geocachers who wishes to visit the cache after the event.
Laurel Lake is a 51-acre lake bordered along the southern shoreline by the Erving State Park and public beach. Shoreline fishing is possible only along the southern shore. Boat access is provided at the western end of the lake over a paved ramp. There is a 10 horsepower restriction on the size of the outboard motors. Recreational usage of this lake in the summer, with swimming the most popular activity.
