Geocache Description:

Cache is located in the Holyoke Range state park. The Batchelor street entrance is the quickest route to the cache.

The cache is a .50 Cal. ammo can located in the general vicinity of a beautiful beaver pond near the Batchelor St. entrance to the Holyoke Range State Park. This is one of the largest beaver ponds I have seen, with a dam that stretches over 100 feet and appears to be almost 20 feet tall in some areas. If your feet get damp while heading for the cache, you are most likely on the wrong trail, as it had to be moved when the beaver pond grew to engulf the old trail. If you take a TB or geocoin, please replace it with one!
