La Cache è posta sul Monte Scale, vicino al Forte di Monte Scale,
in una bellissima posizione molto panoramica sopra le torri e il
lago del Cancano.
Cache is located on Monte Scale, near Forte di Monte Scale in a
very panoramic place over Torri and Lake of Cancano
Questa cache celebra la prima vetta della mia bimba Cecilia (di 7
settimane) ed è posta in uno dei luoghi più belli della zona di
Bormio, da Bormio prendete per livigno e quindi girate a destra
verso le torri di Fraele, passata un'area picnic con barbeque,
salite sino in cima e posteggiate, due sentieri portano alla vetta,
entrambi si incrociano al Forte di Monte Scale, luogo storico, con
diverse fortificatizione e dove è posta la cache. Sul lago è
possibile noleggiare mountain bike per fare il giro dello stesso.
Con altri 15 minuti si arriva in vetta, da dove si gode una vista
stupenda, non perdetela. L'intera salita occupa 1.45 ore con un
allenamento medio, ma merita davvero.
I put this cache while i
climb to the top with my daughter Cecilia (7 weeks old). Move from
Bormio to Livigno and turn right to Torri di Fraele, pass a
Barbeque aerea and go to the lake, you'll find 2 route to the top
that cross at cache location. From there in 15 minutes you are at
the top and will find an outstanding lookout, don't miss it. Entire
climb will take 1.45 hours, but you'll like it. In the lake you can
rent a bike to go around it.
