This cache is along the Florida National Scenic Trail in Green
Swamp West. The trail is for foot traffic only, bicycles or horses
are not allowed. You are searching for a small lock n lock with
room for a log book and small trade items, BYOP. It’s hidden
in what is left of the tree rubble left by hurricanes Frances and
Jeanne. In 2004, these hurricanes blew down over 140 trees that had
to be removed from the 18 miles of trail in Green Swamp West. You
should be able to find this cache without leaving the trail.
Green Swamp West is closed to recreational users during the
hunting seasons EXCEPT for hiking on the Florida Trail.
