WRASTRO: We are going to let this one go since there is no way to keep the cache the way it was originally hidden. It was a nice long, fun run.

Geocache Description:

In celebration of George’s birthday we decided to place this M&M themed cache. Every year for George’s birthday (and usually on Halloween, Christmas and Easter, too!) he gets a bag of peanut M&M’s. After a few years, it’s gotten rather predictable that one of the gifts will contain peanut M&M’s. So this year we devised a cache for him to find ON his birthday where he might surmise that the traditional bag of M&M’s will be awaiting. Once George has found the cache (On August 23) it will be activated for all other Geocachers to enjoy too!

While we can’t leave real candy in the cache, the FTF can also help us launch our Peanut M&M Travel Bug whose mission will be to have its picture taken at the Mars Candy factory in Hackettstown, NJ. Once it’s reached NJ, it would like to then head back west to Tacoma, Washington, birthplace of the Mars Company which owns the brand M&M’s.

Now, on to the cache. It is an ammo can hidden near a water retention pond. A short walk is required and the final few feet may require a bit of bushwhacking. Parking is about 200 feet NE of the cache along NE 123th St.
