We were shocked and saddened to hear that Tom (half of the TomandSiegi geocaching team) passed away recently. This cache is placed in his honor with Siegi's approval.
Another cache in the John Brockway Nature Preserve. We had a great morning romp through this lovely forest with Siegi while doing the nearby Team Bullis series. The cache is about the size of a tennis ball. You'll need to bring your own pen. Please take a swag token in memory of Tom. Coordinates should be good. The Garmin and Magellen were in perfect agreement. DO NOT try to access this cache from anywhere except the posted parking coordinates so you don't tresspass on private property. Please replace cache EXACTLY as you found it. The container is not completely watertight so please put the log and the swag back in their bags and zip them tight. Thanks.
The Butterfly
As the egg, we are planted in our mother's womb.
Our bodies at birth can be likened to the caterpillar in its growth stage.
At death we can be compared to the mummified chrysalis.
The emergence of the beautiful butterfly is symbolic of our rebirth after death...."
